### 1.立項理由

1.1选择高手的原因

來自北京的一位能夠快速漲價的市場策略自由職業者。
在兩年時間共賺到了$60K＋，平均一年$30K。最大的單有賺到$14000，有實力的支撐證明。
她的背景與我相似。會中文，曾到英國留學，讀書時的專業跟自由職業選擇的職業並沒有太大的關連。起步時也是選擇$10-$20/hr的小項目開始。不過職業歷史中有當過marketing 的assistant，可能是她選擇這個方向的其中一個理由吧。

在搜索資料時看見 Associated with Nianzhi, 而 Rudian 是作為 Business manager. 這是自由職業2.0的線索嗎？

1.2判断案例价值的理由

由於背景相似，對剛投入了一點進入marketing領域想瞭解多一點的我是可以模仿學習的對象。
而且她只完成了30件工作，就提升到$60-$70/hr的水平，因此對她的快速漲價以及工作項目選擇的策略感到興趣，想要深入研究一下。

是的，在一共30件工作上由開始的$10-$20/hr 成長至現在 $60-$70/hr 共花了2年時間。
2020 : $10-$20/hr
2021 : $28-$42/hr
2022-23 : $42-$68/hr

兩年當中，前一年積累實力，後一年實現收入翻倍。其間也接了不少固費項目。

小時費率成長路徑：

10 > 17 > 20 > 28, 30, 31,31,33 > 36,36 > 42,42 > 60 > 62 > 68

前期很快突破了$20的區間。在$30的區間停留了5個項目就再進一步提升了。其中有3單都是PM工作。不但費率升不上去，也占用了她一共644個小時。假如一週工作40小時，那麼就等於4個月了。如果盡早擺脫這個工作，那麼空出來的時間有可能令收入的翻倍不需要花2年這麼久。

This job contributes to a multi-market study on the evolving Beauty Services & Experiences space. I am looking for individual category and research expertise for China and the EU.

The deliverable follows a two step output starting with Step 1 (Today): finding the latest and greatest in-market Beauty examples with supporting success data, diagnosing why they are working, locating any themes or emerging trends. Ending with Step 2 (Tomorrow): finding 2-3 non-beauty examples showing where the Services and Experiences space may be heading, diagnosing what can be learned from them, considering how consumer journey and experiences may shift in 2030.

2.4發現我的機會

目前我完成了5單，其中一單是小時費率項目。參考到以上，我是不是要調低我對客戶的篩選，以獲得更多的機會？

現在我的選擇都是：
1.排除沒僱傭記錄的客戶
2. 排除整體僱傭率低於六成的客戶
3. 排除4.5* 評分以下的客戶
4. 排除有機會進行到三個月以上的長期項目
5. 排除固定費率項目
6. 排除習慣差評或沒有留評語習慣的客戶
7. 排除$25/hr以下的項目

除了中間接了些不太大的固費項目，基本上也不影響費率的提升。時間上大概能更快吧。PM工作給了她足夠的收入，但是也限制了能成長和接其他工作的機會。PM工作普遍都比較長，也穩定，這是他的優點也是缺點。如果我的情況的話，最理想會是：
1.提升至一個不錯的小時費率（$40/hr）

2.談判一個較好的價錢，這有兩點可以做
2.1設定試用期。比如以$40/hr做一個月，滿意的話再談以$45/hr 做3-6個月的期限，期滿要繼續就再漲到$50/hr
2.2看看能不能談一個成長溢價-按照我profile的成長，我3-6個月能提升一倍的小時費率。雖然我現在是$40，但考慮升值潛力，6個月預期可以到7-80. 那麼這份合約假如要持續幹6個月甚至更久，能不能先按$55 OR $60/hr 來開始呢？

3.打算找一份穩定收入來幹掉正職的時候也會是一個好時機。因為參考上面PM項目644小時也持續了一年，全職的話4個月，半職8-10個月。假如是半職接了的話就真沒時間了。而且本地化的項目管理工作有極大可能需要在平日辦公時間跟其他人溝通，這樣就會跟本職的時間產生沖突了。

一個她給自己的定位，也是超哥一直提的本地化優勢：
“I talked to a lot of clients from other countries and realized most of them do not truly understand Chinese culture or business. As a Chinese citizen, I have been trying to explain my culture to others by building connections with different global organizations.”

这里的A领域，其实就是翻译。

B领域，就是Marketing。

当你有足够高的费率，足够强的实力，不需要很多客户和项目，你就可以有理想的收入，和理想的生活状态。

没有足够的经验

从学历背景，短期的工作经验来看，

该自由职业者并没有足够多的marketing经验。

但这并不妨碍她选择这个领域起步成长。

从小起步、快速成长

你可以看到充分的证明， 这位自由职业者同样从小起步，快速成长。

随着信心的积累，她开始转方向，也开始成功接到Marketing领域的单。

一开始，是接充满低端机会的A领域（翻译）的项目，低价小单多，帮助她熟悉平台，熟悉拿单经验。

接下来，Profile有了一定的工作历史，她开始有信心，客户对她也有信心，她就可以开始接一些B领域（Marketing）的小单。

然后，随着信心进一步增强，Profile进一步增强，她开始在B领域（Marketing）更高价格、更大的单子。

但加速度极为重要。

一个重要的特征，是价格上去之后就不再下来。

如果小时费率谈不下来，可以用固定费率的小单替代，补充积累。

在30上下的费率停滞是比较普遍的，这和经验和技能的积累强度有关，

如果缺乏经验积累，在合适的费率停留一段时间，积累更多的经验是必要的。

当迈过这道坎，后期你就看到了她强有力的价格涨幅。

在更高的段位，竞争越来越少！

前期都以简单的小单为主。

从工作的主题来看，

有翻译、校对、取名、跨境文化的咨询、APP文案、网络调研。。。

这十个项目从2020年的7月一直持续到了2020年的12月，花了半年的时间。

这个阶段不需要赚很多钱，只要对Profile有work history的贡献即可。

接下来，就迎来了连续两个大单。

这个法国的大客户，实际上当时刚刚注册upwork不久。

2.3重大突破的轉捩點

費率從20提升到40再提升到60，不斷突破

事实上，拿下第一个大客户（第11单法国的大客户），对于Rudian，是有标志性意义的重大时刻。

在Upwork第一单之后的半年，拿到了第一个真正意义上的四位数大单（$4,857.99），并在3个月项目结束后，和客户续约拿下了第一个五位数大单（$12,941.25）。

这是在前期Work history证明自己能力的基础上，用小时费率满足了客户的中长期需求，帮助自己首先做实了30美金/小时上下的价位，开始积累数字营销方面的实际案例和证明。

为后续的进一步提升做好了铺垫。

The deliverable follows a two step output starting with Step 1 (Today): finding the latest and greatest in-market Beauty examples with supporting success data, diagnosing why they are working, locating any themes or emerging trends. Ending with Step 2 (Tomorrow): finding 2-3 non-beauty examples showing where the Services and Experiences space may be heading, diagnosing what can be learned from them, considering how consumer journey and experiences may shift in 2030.

客戶給了一份 market analysis / market trend prediction 的案例，之後有需要可以回來查看。這是值 $60/hr 的工作。是進階的搜索工作，把客戶關注的資料都找出來，排整成一份美觀的，能向老闆或高端客戶提交的報告。感覺是能夠學會的，並不是什麼太空科技

当你有了前期的费率成长历史支撑，后续拿下更大的项目并不是太艰难的事情。

很多高费率的工作，从本质上来说并不难。

难的是你如何拿到竞争的入场券。

超哥一直引导的，是建立一个成长型的Profile，当你有了一系列实实在在的项目，能够证明你的可靠性，就有了上台的资格。

对Rudian的分析，可以很好得证明这一点，

• 最开始的10个项目，无论大小，无论方向，只要有，就有机会让你接到四位数、五位数的后续项目。
• 当你有了四位数、五位数的项目，当你有了费率持续上升的势头，后续的涨价，后续的大单也不再是难事

很多有预算的客户，会找看起来更靠谱的人，而证明这一点，需要看你的Profile，尤其是Work History。

2.4發現我的機會

目前我完成了5單，其中一單是小時費率項目。參考到以上，我是不是要調低我對客戶的篩選，以獲得更多的機會？

如果你仔细查看以往的实战分析，这一直是我们强调的。

刚开始，要找简单的小单，拓展方向，不要管到底是什么方向。

刚起步的时候，方向不重要！！！

事实上，刚起步的时候，Profile也不重要！！！

刚起步的时候，是要快速拿单，快速积累好评，快速积累最初的经验。

最好是小时费率，作出价格成长的证明。

如果实在拿不下小时费率，用固定费率凑起步的订单数量也行。

現在我的選擇都是：
1.排除沒僱傭記錄的客戶
2. 排除整體僱傭率低於六成的客戶
3. 排除4.5* 評分以下的客戶
4. 排除有機會進行到三個月以上的長期項目
5. 排除固定費率項目
6. 排除習慣差評或沒有留評語習慣的客戶
7. 排除$25/hr以下的項目

我们需要有筛选，

对于完全的新手来说，需要的是快速拿到第一单（最好是好评），

对于拿到第一单的新手来说，需要的是更快拿到第一个好评，拿到更多的单子，

对于拿到几单的新手来说，需要的是快速做好价格的成长曲线。

因此，在筛选的时候，标准是要根据目标进行调整的。

从你的标准来看，现在你并不需要1，4，5这三项，可以帮助你扩大更多的机会。

比如Rudian起步时的法国大客户，就是非常新的客户（20年11月刚注册，12月初给了Rudian大单）

除了中間接了些不太大的固費項目，基本上也不影響費率的提升。時間上大概能更快吧。PM工作給了她足夠的收入，但是也限制了能成長和接其他工作的機會。PM工作普遍都比較長，也穩定，這是他的優點也是缺點。

这个情况因人而异，如果一个项目有足够的多元性和成长性，是可以多做一些时间，多学一些东西的。

如果我的情況的話，最理想會是：
1.提升至一個不錯的小時費率（$40/hr）

2.談判一個較好的價錢，這有兩點可以做

2.1設定試用期。比如以$40/hr做一個月，滿意的話再談以$45/hr 做3-6個月的期限，期滿要繼續就再漲到$50/hr
2.2看看能不能談一個成長溢價-按照我profile的成長，我3-6個月能提升一倍的小時費率。雖然我現在是$40，但考慮升值潛力，6個月預期可以到7-80. 那麼這份合約假如要持續幹6個月甚至更久，能不能先按$55 OR $60/hr 來開始呢？

平台上绝大多数的客户都短期的，有少部分的长期客户。

在针对这些长期客户的谈判时，就要特别注意策略。

在你快速涨价期，建议不要同意过长的合约。

在你达到一个较高的价位平台时，觉得技能和信心都需要进一步积蓄提升是，建议做几个较为中期大一点的合同。

针对同一个客户，不建议隔几个月涨一次价格，这不但不专业，而且会惹恼客户。

你要做的，是换一批新客户。

3.打算找一份穩定收入來幹掉正職的時候也會是一個好時機。因為參考上面PM項目644小時也持續了一年，全職的話4個月，半職8-10個月。假如是半職接了的話就真沒時間了。而且本地化的項目管理工作有極大可能需要在平日辦公時間跟其他人溝通，這樣就會跟本職的時間產生沖突了。

所谓的稳定，是建立在你有多个客户（多个收入渠道）、有持续开发新客户能力的前提下的。

一個她給自己的定位，也是超哥一直提的本地化優勢：
“I talked to a lot of clients from other countries and realized most of them do not truly understand Chinese culture or business. As a Chinese citizen, I have been trying to explain my culture to others by building connections with different global organizations.”
